Bridging Two Worlds
Abhinav and Alicia came to us with a beautiful challenge: create a celebration that honored Abhinav's Indian heritage and Alicia's Western traditions, all within the magical setting of Bali. Ayana Bali, with its sweeping Jimbaran Bay views and world-class facilities, provided the perfect canvas for this three-day affair.
The result was a celebration that moved seamlessly between vibrant Sangeet festivities, a traditional Hindu ceremony at sunrise, and an elegant Western-style reception as the sun dipped below the horizon.
The Ceremony
The Hindu ceremony took place on Ayana's cliff-edge pavilion, with the sacred fire framed by the vast Indian Ocean. Our team worked with traditional pandits to ensure every ritual was performed with authenticity, while the floral mandap, towering and adorned with marigolds and orchids, was designed to complement the natural beauty of the setting.
As afternoon turned to golden hour, the celebration transitioned to a glamorous reception. The fusion menu paired Indian flavors with modern culinary techniques, butter chicken arancini, tandoori prawns, and a dessert table that spanned twelve varieties of mithai alongside a classic wedding cake.
